One of my favorite things to do is, duh, go to the thrift store!!! My favorite here in Miami is Red, White, and Blue which I'm sure if you love thrifting, you already know of this place I like to call "Heaven". I went the other day with a new friend to check things out. We both heard the same things from our boyfriends... "Find me something cool!".
We were so into finding stuff for us, but had to quickly find something for them before the store closed! (They close so early: 6pm.) I dashed to the clock section and low and behold, I found this cool vintage looking clock.
All for a mere $3.95. Come to find out after I got it home, it even WORKS! Yeah, I was not buying it for functionality purposes.... just for looks... so it came as a great surprise when I was sitting on my sofa and heard a ticking noise from the bag it was in. Its so cool, its a wind-able clock.
Best thing was though, he loved it :) <3
Teak! She's finally doing her thang!!! Well, she's been doin it for a while, but she's finally telling the world about it. I'm so excited for her and can't wait to try some of her treats. Too bad she lives in Tampa, and I live in Miami. :-( However, I will be seeing her at the end of October for her COSTUME HALLOWEEN / WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Party, and at the end of November in Miami.
