Fishnet Gazette
My great friend Teak has a new blog that is so fun! It's called Fishnet Gazette, and it's all about all things girly for Halloween. She loves Halloween so I definitely support her new blog because she always has great ideas.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time!!!
I'm so excited that my friend Teak from Tampa is coming to visit me in the 305! It's the "Peanut Butter & Jelly Time" Countdown! I love these earrings from Fred Flare (could add to xmas list). I'm the one on the left; she's on the right. *heehee*
Well I decided to make a sweet list of things to do while she is here. That way we don't wake up and have to be like, "What do you want to do?". Ew I'm SOOO Clark W. Griswold from Vacation and making a detailed vacation list. Instead of going to Wally World though, we are going to Santa's Enchanted Forest on Sunday night. Hopefully we don't find too much trouble along the way!
As requested, we are going to be thrift store shopping during the day on Saturday. I am excited to take Teak to Red, White, & Blue (surprised to see they have a website!) in Hialeah and North Miami Beach. I spose I will take her to Out of the Closet as well, even though it was kinda "poopy", but I decided whatever because I support their cause. This will keep us busy for a few hours, especially with Miami traffic where there is construction just about everywhere!
Also requested was to eat cuban food. I think David's on the beach wouldn't really do it since it's on Lincoln Road and that isn't very "Cuban-ey"! So, I remembered DUH take her to Versailles on Calle Ocho... can't get much more Cuban than that. Maybe we will see Pitt Bull making a video?
Before any adventures begin HOWEVER MOST IMPORTANTLY, Teak's going to get a haircut!!!! We will have to do before and after pictures!
Countdown---------- 3 days!!!

Christmas List
How cute is this camera? Will someone please buy it for me? It takes the coolest pictures ever, and it isn't digital which I find pretty fun! I haven't gone to develop pictures in a million years, since 1774.

on the hunt
I've grown tired of buying stupid earrings from cheap stores that end up tarnishing because they are of poor quality! Even if they are $5, it's not worth only being able to wear all cute and shiny and then the third time I pull them out of my jewelry box, they are dull and just plain ew.
So, last week I was feeling a bit down and decided to do my usual mood-lifting activity: thrift store! I went to a couple of new (to me) stores in Miami: Out of the Closet on Biscayne Blvd, in the middle of the crazy construction, and the other thrift I can't remember the name, but it was past Target in Midtown on 36th.
At the "Un-named" store, they had an cool selection of earrings for MEGA cheap. My friend and I sifted through all of them, and I found some super duper cute ones, plus an owl pin to appease my owl obsession. The ones with the red ruby are so adorable. I love how they are screw on earrings, so they don't hurt as much like clip ons can sometimes!
Ok this other doesn't have anything to do with earrings, but it has to do with the fact that I still have a VHS! At Out of the Closet they were selling VHS tapes for only $1....... YES, 4 quarters...... 10 dimes!!! There were so many I wanted, and despite the cheapness, I didn't want to be a crazy head and buy them all.... now I'm like aw man, I should have bought them all.
